The Environmental Public Health Program Manager (EPHPM):
Manages the EPH Programs and supervises and provides program support to the Field Environmental Public Health Officer (EPHO), Water Quality Monitors (WQM’s) and the Emergency Response Planner (ERP).
Develops, implements, supports and oversees programs that identify, monitor, and report on environmental public health conditions amongst Member First Nations.
Responsible for overseeing the Safe Drinking Water Program, which monitors and reports on drinking water quality in Member First Nation communities.
Works with the Field EPHO, the Member First Nations, and other concerned parties to advocate at both the community and the regional level to correct any environmental public health conditions that may adversely affect health.
The EPHPM is a team member on Member First Nation ISC Capital Project Team Meetings that oversee community infrastructure construction. The role is to provide advice and feedback on environmental public health aspects of the projects.
