Environmental Public Health

The environment is vital in determining health and well-being. The environment includes the land, air, water, food, housing and other resources that need to be cared for and considered to sustain healthy and safe environments for children, families and communities.

STC’s Environmental Public Health Programs (EPH) team includes:

  • Environmental Public Health Program Manager
  • Environmental Public Health Officer
  • Water Quality Monitors
  • Emergency Response Planner

The EPH Team works in partnership with Member First Nation communities to:

  • Identify and prevent environmental public health risks in their communities that could impact the health of community members and
  • Provide them with the support and tools to prepare for, manage and respond to emergency events.
