Employment and Training Services

Programs & Services Overview

The Employment Training Services (ETS) Staff delivers unfunded and funded labour market activities to eligible First Nation individuals of the seven STC Member First Nations members and communities.

STC Employment Training Services (ETS) programs are delivered on reserve to the STC seven-Member First Nations and off-reserve for First Nations residents of Saskatoon.

The overall goal of ETS is to improve the quality of life for members, which ETS Labour Force Development Programs actively support. ETS LFD will ensure that we provide:

  • Necessary opportunities for employment success
  • Increase employment levels of First Nations
  • Decrease social dependence
  • Improve economic independence

Who is Eligible for ETS?

Eligible clients must reside in rural communities outside the City of Saskatoon. If you qualify for any Labour Force Development (LFD) programs and services, you will be informed by contacting the ETS program staff. We will refer you to the appropriate agency if you reside outside our geographic area.
