The STC Treaty Office houses the office of the Tribal Chief and Vice Chief and is overall responsible for implementing the strategic and political direction of the seven member nations Chief’s in Council.
The STC Treaty Office is the main political arm of the tribal council and it is through the Treaty Office that the executive powers of the Tribal Chief and Vice Chief derive. It also through the Treaty Office that strategic direction is provided to all of the tribal council’s corporations, administrative operations, own-source revenue entities and programs and services.
The Treaty Office is the essential link between the tribal council’s seven member communities and the organizations administrative operations.
