Capital Campaign Narrative

Featuring Troy Davies and Medavie Health

The operating capital campaign began in November of 2019. When the bus was launched on September 7, 2021, Synergy 8 Community Builders was just shy of two years of fundraising to get that point.

Over the past 10 years, Synergy 8 Community Builders has raised $7.43 million. The group built the Pediatric Chemotherapy Centre. Their last campaign purchased all of the equipment for the Pediatric Trauma Room at the new Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon that serves all of Saskatchewan. Some of the items they have purchased include the Health Bus in Saskatoon and two Pediatric Ambulances (that serve all of Northern Saskatchewan).

STC Member Chiefs and Ethan Bear announced the operating agreement at a media event on September 24, 2020.

Synergy 8 Community Builders is a non-profit volunteer group of nine guys that launches a capital campaign each year and holds a Golf and Dinner event with sports celebrities to fundraise for the campaign.
