Position Summary
The Seasonal Garden Staff position provides hands‑on, full‑time seasonal work supporting Muskeg Lake Cree Nation’s Food Sovereignty initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and contributing to community health and wellness through food production.
Seasonal Garden Staff assist with all aspects of gardening, tree care, food production, and site maintenance across Muskeg Lake Cree Nation’s food growing spaces, including the Food Forest, greenhouse, and community garden. The primary work location is the Food Forest, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
This role reports directly to the Food Security Coordinator and supports the day‑to‑day work of the food systems team.
