Position Summary:
The First Nation Child and Family Services & Jordan’s Principle Settement Mental Health Worker, under the direction of the STC Mental Health Program Manager, will provide support to the First Nation Child and Family Services & Jordan’s Principle Settlement claimants, and will be primarily responsible to provide prevention, assessment, referrals, and support to our Member Nations. The Mental Health Worker will work collaboratively alongside our Integrated Wellness Team as well our Member Nation Staff. The Mental Health Worker will build healthy relationships with Relatives, as well as provide education with a focus on mental wellness, such as suicide prevention, substance use including harm reduction, anxiety, depression, pregnancy, and homelessness. This position is placed under the Integrated Wellness Services Portfolio with a direct reporting line to Wellness.
Salary Range: $26.00 To $39.01 Hourly
