Position Summary
The Integrated Wellness Addictions Specialist will provide culturally appropriate, client-centered addiction prevention, intervention, and recovery support services to individuals and families of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. This position focuses on promoting holistic wellness by integrating traditional First Nations teachings with evidence-based approaches to addiction care. The Integrated Wellness Addiction Specialist will be part of an integrated case management approach and will work in collaboration with the wellness team; kotawān and health staff. This position also requires extensive collaboration and networking with other community-based organizations and health and social systems. The case load will be varied, complex, demanding, and diverse in nature. This position will provide direct intervention and/or referrals to appropriate service provider/programs for those in need.
